So this question is, I have very little time and I'm overwhelmed with responsibilities.
I can't do everything.
So what's the best steps for me to focus on for now in order to begin healing?
Good question.
You know, we get overwhelmed.
We have responsibilities.
I talk about that a lot.
If you've listened to some of the stuff I do, we have obligations.
We have to take care of others.
There's so much on our plate here.
so you know it gets overwhelming like exactly what can you do what can what steps can you make
first of all um you know you could start with food because food you have some control over
not everybody can go off and exercise not everybody can go run off and do you know exercise
i've always i've always um admired people that can exercise two hours a day i don't know where
they find the time but there are people that have that time i don't have two hours a day to exercise
um it'd be lucky at best some days i can get a 20 minute uh walk so exercising is not something
that uh you know you need a lot of time for that when you can so the bottom line is what can you
do when you're really got so much on your plate you're overwhelmed and you're overworked basically
that's what it is you're overworked of course so food because what you put in your mouth we have
to have some control with and includes even me. I mean, you know, exactly. If I'm working a zillion
hours a week and, um, and somebody puts the wrong food on my desk, I might fall prey. So we have to
be really, really careful. So when we're running around, it's obvious when we're running around
doing things, we just, we just, what can we eat? We grab something that that's on the road. We grab
something that's not so great. Um, you know, we might end up with a salad dressing that's, you
know contaminated with canola oil and msg and all kinds of other preservatives so what can we do we
have to at least start improving what goes goes in our mouth with what goes in our bodies because
we we can have some control on that so look if you're overwhelmed and you got a lot of
responsibilities where can you begin healing first thing is get more fruits and vegetables
more leafy greens in the diet. Try to get a salad in the diet. Try to get a salad once a day.
Anything you can do. Try to get an avocado once a day. Start with just better eats, better food,
healthier food for your body. The other thing is try to take a walk. Schedule a walk. Schedule a
little bit of exercise. If you don't have time to go to a gym or you don't feel well enough to go to
a gym you schedule time just to take a little bit of a walk and you get into a rhythm a habit
habits have to start what happens is when we get overwhelmed we get burdened we get held down
and uh we were taking care of everyone but ourselves we can't form a good habit it's
virtually impossible sometimes to form a good habit instead we form nothing but bad habits
because that's what occurs.
I mean, that's the whole point.
So forming a bad habit is simple.
Forming a good habit, we got to do a little switcheroo.
So one thing we have to somehow carve a little bit of time
to take a little walk once a day
and make it a habit if it's at all possible.
Get a salad in us once a day.
Maybe you're out at work and you know a salad bar
that's your favorite and that's the one you pick.
But you have to make sure though,
or you take a salad with you.
You prepare some food at home.
Now, preparing food at home is not easy,
and I know that for anybody who's overwhelmed.
That's really difficult.
But you take one day at a time.
These are all simple steps to start with your healing process.
You don't have to shut your life down.
That's another fear people have.
They think, what should I do?
Should I shut my life down?
Should I do it that way?
No, you just bring in the steps one at a time
because when you do, everything starts to change.
So start with a glass of lemon water.
That's one thing I do with people who are overwhelmed, a lot of responsibilities.
Start with a simple glass of lemon water.
If you hate lemon, let's pick lime.
Cut a fresh lime, squeeze it in there, and that's what we do.
If you hate lime, let's go with grapefruit.
We've got to use something.
but we'll start with a glass of lemon water and maybe you know 12 to 16 ounces and we get that
in us once a day bam once we do that pow okay we're already starting something starting the
basis another thing is a couple of supplements go with the foundational supplements i talked about
this recently and in the questions it was one of the earlier questions to get some b12 the right
kind of B12 in us. And so that's the other thing that's important. So you just start these little
steps. And once you get into that, they become habitual and then they really stick to us and
we don't want to let them go. They become, you know, flowers in our garden instead of weeds.
And that's what you do when you're really overwhelmed or so forth. And that's the
best way of handling it. But really great question.
